Our focus is on Eurasia and North Africa. While others only serve these markets as a by-product of their normal activities, we live and work in the places we connect. We are deeply rooted in these countries; we are familiar with cultural conventions and local framework conditions. In addition, Militzer & Münch is involved in strategic alliances and collaborations and is constantly expanding its portfolio in order to be able to offer innovative logistics solutions to its customers.
Over the past century, a small forwarding company founded in 1880 by Richard Militzer and Werner Münch in Bavaria has evolved into a logistics group that connects worlds: thanks to dedicated employees, many years of experience, regional competence and the courage to always open up new horizons.
History
Initially, the company’s activity began in 2006 as a representative office of the International Holding M&M Militser & Munch in Tajikistan, however, later, in 2009, the company was registered as LLC M&M Militser & Munch Tajikistan.
For 11 years, M&M Militser & Münch has gained a strong reputation as a professional and reliable partner providing quality logistics and forwarding services to its customers. Having a flexible approach to solving and designing transport issues, M&M Militser & Munch Tajikistan is always focused on sustainable development and expansion of the list of services and products.
1880
By building an international freight forwarding and logistics business in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and China, Militzer & Münch was one of the first companies to enter new emerging markets for its customers and successfully introduce its services there.
With undying enthusiasm, Militzer & Münch is entering new areas of logistics and expanding its range of services as an efficient partner for customers.
1930
As early as the 1930s, Militzer & Münch took over the freight agency of the large maritime shipping companies and airlines, which were still young at the time. In 1949, Militzer & Münch was appointed as an official IATA agent. It then goes on to establish branches that have played a decisive role in the expansion of the air and sea freight business, such as the Hamburg branch and the first airfreight center opened in 1962 at Frankfurt Airport.
2000
The founders of Militzer & Münch showed a pioneering spirit when they laid the foundation for the company 140 years ago with the creation of a rail freight forwarding company. Militzer & Münch, who created the air freight business in the middle of the last century and developed the rail and road transport of groupage cargoes to Afghanistan and Iran in the following decades, also showed a pioneering spirit. Since then, a promising future has paved the way.

AEO - authorized economic operator
AEO status is an internationally recognized quality mark indicating that the operator's role in the international supply chain is secure and that its customs controls and procedures are efficient and compliant. AEO status is not mandatory, but it does give faster access to certain simplified customs procedures and, in some cases, the right to "speed up" certain shipments through certain customs and security procedures.
IATA
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is the world's airline trade association representing over 260 airlines or 83% of total air traffic. IATA supports airline operations and helps formulate industry policies and standards. As a member of IATA, M&M is able to issue air waybills itself. For our customers, this also means more flexible and faster handling of their shipments.
