To the most remote corners of the world
Militzer & Münch is the expert in international transports along the “long axes”. For decades, the Militzer & Münch Group has connected East and West, transporting goods between China, Central Asia, Europe and the USA – by request as door-to-door shipments including customs clearance.
Specialist for eastbound traffics
Militzer & Münch-owned companies in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan make Militzer & Münch a potent partner for transports from and to Central Asia. For the construction sector for instance, we transported solar panels and components for a float glass factory from Germany to Kazakhstan.
In Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, we have become experts on the transport of cotton. The commodity is of major importance to the region. Our local teams have long years of experience in delivering the valuable goods to the world along the old trade routes of the Silk Road.
Transports from China to Germany
In view of the Chinese government’s ‘One Belt, One Road’ initiative to boost trade along the New Silk Road, Central Asia is playing an essential role also as a transit region. Rail transports from China to Germany are gaining more and more importance. For transports from and to China Militzer & Münch mainly opts for container block trains in close cooperation with sister company InterRail.
Ocean transports to America
Mechanical parts from Germany to Brazil or aircraft engines from Turkey to the USA – the Militzer & Münch teams give their best every day to find the optimal route and the securest means of transport. For your goods to reach their destination as fast as possible.
Thanks to our cooperation across borders and our strategic partnerships, we find the way to the remotest corners of the world. We combine the required carriers for you – always with an eye to efficiency and sustainability.
Aircraft engine on board
From Uzbekistan via South Korea to the USA: Militzer & Münch handled the transport of several passenger aircraft engines. The engines measuring 5.6 x 2.5 x 2.7 meters and weighing 6.5 tons each were shipped from Tashkent, the Uzbek capital, to Atlanta, USA, a distance of over 17,000 kilometers. They were trucked to the airport in Uzbekistan, and then went by air via South Korea to the USA, where they were delivered to the destination in Atlanta in cooperation with our partner of long years, Pilot Freight Services.
Our partner Pilot
Pilot Freight Services makes use of the Militzer & Münch logistics network that covers almost 30 countries, while in return, Militzer & Münch has access to all Pilot locations in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
For over 30 years, Militzer & Münch has been providing transports from and to North Africa. In addition to the classic airfreight, sea freight and road transports activities, warehousing services and customs management are also part of our local portfolio.
